About me
Coach Jeremy Baney is in his 26th season coaching Track and Field and Cross Country at South Dearborn High School, and his 29th overall. Before coaching at SDHS, he was Assistant Head Boys Track and Field Coach at Terre Haute South High School and Cross Country Coach at Honey Creek Middle School. He has coached 39 State Track Meet Qualifiers, 15 All-State performers, and four Indiana All-Stars. Individual highlights include 1999 110 High Hurdle State Champion David Lewis and Kathy Klump’s two 800m Run State Championships in 2006 and 2008. Combining Track and Cross Country, his teams have won nine conference championships, seven Sectional Team Championships, and one Regional Championship. He is a 1993 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School and a 1999 graduate of Indiana State University. He served as an assistant coach for the Indiana Womens All-Star Team for 12 seasons. He teaches Art at South Dearborn. He has been married to his wife Shelley for 28 years.
